A speedpaint I did right now, about 2 hours. All I can think of at the moment is to hold my leg into that icy water - yesterday I had an accident with boiling water and burned my upper right leg completely with second degree burns - that hurts, I can tell you. I can´t even wear trousers at the moment, not to mention having a shower or such ... luxury. Anyway, this was all I was capable of today. Something cold .

The pic itself is really beautiful, I've never really figured how to paint mountains... wanna tell me your secret?
I don't know why, but I've got the impression they're charcoal mountains, rather volcanic than icy. The unrefined circle-like area from the lower part of the region looks like a lake of some sort to me, though it's probably just mist.
What I enjoy most about this speedpaint is that it allows your imagination to complete the image. It's detailed enough to look great, but leaves a few unfinished edges to allow us viewers to contribute. It also makes it seem larger.
