A speedpaint I did right now, about 2 hours. All I can think of at the moment is to hold my leg into that icy water - yesterday I had an accident with boiling water and burned my upper right leg completely with second degree burns - that hurts, I can tell you. I can´t even wear trousers at the moment, not to mention having a shower or such ... luxury. Anyway, this was all I was capable of today. Something cold .
Well it seems physical pain has good influence on your art! Because this is lovely. Yeah, and I know how you feel, once I burnt my upper leg too, with boiling water, second degree burns... only it was my left leg It's been many years now and I still have some scars left. I hope that lifts up your spirit
ouch D: I've gotten some boiling milk on my leg and I didn't get really bad burns but still it hurted like hell so I can imagine that must have hurted a lot. I hope your leg gets better soon ^^ The pic itself is really beautiful, I've never really figured how to paint mountains... wanna tell me your secret?
I'm sorry for your leg, I hope it will heal quick.
I don't know why, but I've got the impression they're charcoal mountains, rather volcanic than icy. The unrefined circle-like area from the lower part of the region looks like a lake of some sort to me, though it's probably just mist.
What I enjoy most about this speedpaint is that it allows your imagination to complete the image. It's detailed enough to look great, but leaves a few unfinished edges to allow us viewers to contribute. It also makes it seem larger.
Sorry to hear about your leg, that sounds painful! Nice painting, though... there are some really interesting textures going on there, I'm curious about what kinds of brushes you like to use.
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
