ZOMG I did fanart. Haven´t done fanart for ages!
 And then I bet you haven´t expected this ??? MUAHAHAHAHA! Yes, I am outing myself here that I am a fan of Diana Gabaldon´s books, and I have finished the Outlander books some weeks ago. I have read them in english as practise. Since I started to read the books I wanted to paint Jamie and Claire, and at least NOW I managed to finish a portrait of Jamie Fraser how I have him in my mind.  Enjoy! Jamie (c) by Diana Gabaldon. Ah, btw I don´t have a clue how the original Tartan of the Fraser Clan looks like. To answer your tartan question. There are several Fraser tartans depending on which clan Fraser it is. Some clans also have several tartans. What I'd associate most is a red tartan with blue and green stripes, but there are other ones.
I've always found that this website is quite good at finding appropriate tartans, so you can look at the choices for Fraser there: [link]
