Finally finished. I was inspired by an engraving by William Miller, "Fairies on the Seashore," done in the 19th century. But I didn´t made this rocks so imposant, i wanted to have some more realistic seashore, some unbelievable kitsch. The water reflections were made with special brushes made by , with those effects the picture came finally to life. Man, I so want to be there right now.
EDIT: here is a bigger downloadable file for your own personal use, for a desktop-bg for your comp or something like that.
But as always: no tubes, editing, cropping, use for webblogs or other publishing in print or on the web.
Oh my.....! That water is just magical! I love all the caustic's and the tiny whirls and especially the reflection! It totally gives you such a calming feeling. I'll bet the water is cool and invigorating. Most excellent work Nathie! I would like to be there too and escape this heat! This is such stunning work, I get so caught up in all the tiny details you place in your images. Wonderful!

Your most welcome! Oh yes, it stays hot here in the desert until the end of October. Our temperatures are in the 100's right now but the nights are finally cooling down below 100 so it will be really nice weather soon. Then it's gorgeous until around June of next year. Our days are typically sunny, no clouds with a temperature of around 75 during the day all winter long. hehe It's really dry too, we are lucky to have humidity above 5 or 10 percent so you always have a good hair day! haha I can't believe you guys are having November temps? Seems early for that yes? Brrrrr, I just freeze when it gets below 70. hehe Hugs!

over 100 - that would be too hot for a german. We just had it around 47F last week, and the weeks before we were at 104F. >.< That is just sick. My fave temperature is around 68/70 and I don´t have much tolerance in either direction. Where exactly do you live?
hehe, it's hot for me too. But it really makes a difference when there is no humidity. It's actually quite nice. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in the Mid-West in Illinois but I have lived in Arizona for about 21 years so I'm pretty much a native now. hehe I can't believe your temps have dropped so low ! Wow, I'm surprised your not all sick with those big temperature changes. Boo! Soon I will be able to open all the windows and air out the house and hear the birdies sing. haha I hope it does not snow on you, 47F is getting pretty close. Be sure to dress warm when you go for your run! Weeeeee!
