This is a kind of remake of an older pic. I wanted to paint it again with my current skill level. I was so happy as I got a DD for that old pic, but now I know I can do better. :)
First I wanted to "overpaint" the old pic, then I decided to go for another perspective, and started all over in a new file. Painted in CS2 from scratch on, ca. 50 or 60 hours. I haven´t gotten quicker. :lol:

You're getting really good at landscapes :). I like it a lot more than the old one. It seems more... magical. It's like a temple in disguise.

The boat is a nice touch, really suggests travel. The stone creature gives a sense of old ruin, of hidden. I see you kept the pillars that looked so well in the previous version. :)

You've put a lot of work in making the details. The tree looks awesome, with those vines covering it and twists. It definitely deserves a DD of its own :).

Sorry I can't say more, I'm kind of in a rush now. I'll just conclude by saying you've become very good at making landscapes.
