I´m back from my holidays... already since a few days. Well, I wasn´t actually gone, I just took a break and made some hiking and biking tours with my partner. We have had alot of fun And I´ve gotten one year older, the same routine every year, nothing new.

The first thing I learned at the age of 37 was: don´t shave your privates if you intend to do a long biking tour afterwards. Just don´t do it.
And the first thing I said to my mom was: "I am grown up, mom. That means I can eat so many fishsticks I want without eating one single potatoe with them."

The next weeks are going to be busy. We will have some pretty nice reenactment fun the next weekends, plus some private parties. Fun stuff! I finished over the last days a few WIP´s, so expect some more stuff from me.

I have made alot of swordfight-training over the weeks now and last Thursday I woke up with horrible leg-cramps. I wasn´t able to drive properly, and as I came back from work I dropped in at my doc and he told me i have a lack of magnesium. He gave me 100 magnesium-pills who make some lemon-sparkling water to drink, and now I swear, after a few days I smell like a lemon.

So, that were the latest news from the front.

8 facts about myself.
Normally I don´t do the tag game, but I was asked and now I did it.
I don´t tag anyone, feel free to do it if you like.

1.) I found out in my early teens that white cotton slips are getting rusty, dispite of what our teacher in chemistry said. You know, black cotton slips just don´t get rusty. It must be the lack of dye in the white ones.

2.) I have bought two houses in 3 years.

3.) I have really bad manners in public and especially in business meetings. I think such meetings are exactly made for pushing your creativity. The more boring the topic, the more creative you have to be to entertain yourself (and the others.)

4.) I love to cook, and I cook very good (so the people say) but I can´t bake a cake to save my life.

5.) I have to sneeze if I am horny. It is annoying. And I bet you think it´s funny.

6.) I own 5 swords in different sizes that are suitable for swordfighting, 3 spears, one longbow, one pistol and one mace. And one piece of that equipment follows me into my bedroom if my partner is on a business trip over night. Oh, no, I´m not humping them.

7.) I am owned by a cat. She keeps me as the can opener. That is the sad truth. My parents raised me to be independent and .... now that. It´s a shame.

8.) I am a legal drug addict for over 1 year now. 5 bucks for getting stoned 3 months every evening in a row, that´s a deal, isn´t it? For 5 bucks you don´t even get a beer in an inn here in germany.

So, on another note: I´m having well deserved holidays from tomorrow on, and this time my partner and I want to spend actually some quality time together, that means I will neglect my drawing and painting activities for 10 days and won´t be around much here too. I haven´t had one single free weekend since last july, so it is about bloody time!

My username is very unspectacular. A friend just called me "Nathie" a few years ago, and it got stuck somehow and now I use that as artist´s name. (Because my real name is quite funny in german. Too funny for your own good. )
